NEW SENIOR CENTER PROCEDURES

Due to requirements set by the Governor’s office and the Department of Health, the following procedures/protocols will remain in place until further notice:
1.  Masks will be required for everyone entering the building.
2.  Everyone will have their temperature checked with a contact-free thermometer.
3.  You must fill out a registration/contact information form. We are required to keep this information in the event COVID-19 contact tracing is needed.
4.  You must sign in at the reception desk each time you come for an activity.
5.  You must maintain a 6 foot distance from others while at the Senior Center.
6.  Signing up for activities ahead of time will be required due to occupancy restrictions. Our phone number is (802) 442-1052.
7.  Entry to the Senior Center is for scheduled activities ONLY.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these procedures. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for you while you are here. This entire re-opening process will take time; we thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing you again.

September  Calendar Schedule

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Bennington Senior Center is a place that brings together older adults who want to be engaged in their communities and with their peers. Nationally, more than 10 million Americans take part in activities through the 15,000 centers around the country. Senior centers provide services and activities older adults need to be healthy, happy and as independent as they can be.  At most senior centers, you can have a meal, make friends, get fit, take a class, be creative, get help, have fun, help out and more.

It is the mission of the Bennington Senior Center to engage persons 50+ in the lifelong learning process; promote their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being by providing social, recreational, creative, and cultural programs; and enable active participation in the center and community.
