**Townwide Hydrant Flushing begins TUESDAY April 28th and runs for two-weeks through Friday May 08th.  This program generally begins on the East side of Town and works its way West during the two-week period.  Some may lose pressure or experience discolored water.  These are normal side effects.  Please run the Cold Water ONLY to restore water.

 

Please be Advised: The Next Phase of PFOA Water Line extensions continues. 

Apple Hill: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Berard Street: will be CLOSED to through Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Cortland Ln: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

East Road (Lower): MONDAY will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic as a Water Crew repairs a water main break.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Harwood Hill Road -between Northside Drive and Rte 7 Connector will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Houghton Lane will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Michael’s Drive: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Squaw Hill: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Willow Road: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

TOWNWIDE:

Water Department begins Hydrant Flushing townwide.   Many roads may be temporarily reduced to One-lane.  Men and equipment will be in, or on the edge of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

REMINDER – Spring :

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this clogs storm drains and creates flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station.
