 Please be Advised: The PFOA Water Line extension work continues. 

Burgess Rd at Oakes St will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic as water crew repairs a valve in preparation for paving.  Reminder: Main St to Center St has been milled and is still rough while waiting for paving.  Please use Caution when traveling and Expect Delays.

Chapel Rd (Upper): North of Crossover Rd will be CLOSED 7:00am-5:30pm for the next 3 weeks as a contractor crew continues PFOA water main extension work.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Detours will be in place.  Please schedule your time accordingly to account for these detours or find an alternate route.

County St between Safford St and Park St: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic all week as Highway Crew clean and repair storm drains along County St.  Men and equipment will be on edge of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Gage St: (Safford St to Grove St): Tuesday & Wednesday will be CLOSED as a contractor rescheduled the new water connection for the Rec Ctr expansion project.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Detours will be in place. Please schedule your time accordingly to account for these detours or find an alternate route.

Kocher Drive: between Aldi’s and Performance Dr continues to have lane restrictions while a contractor continues work on the Pedestrian Sidewalk Extension project.  Men and equipment will be in or on the edge of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

North Branch St: Reminder: this entire road has been milled and is still rough while waiting for paving.  Please use caution when traveling or find alternate route.

Performance Dr: this road has been milled and is rough while waiting for paving.  Please use caution when traveling or find alternate route.

Polygraphic Ln (N.Benn): will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next 2 weeks while a Sewer Crew works on the Sewer Main Replacement project.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

TOWNWIDE:

Highway Department will continue roadside mowing throughout town.  Please use caution when approaching these areas and expect delays.

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

 

REMINDER – Summer :

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this clogs storm drains and creates flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station.
