Please be Advised: The PFOA Water Line extension work continues. 

Apple Hill: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic due to PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays. 

Astrachan Dr: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Cortland Ln: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Gore Rd (UPPER): will be CLOSED one day (TBD) to through traffic as a Private Contractor makes a new water connection in the area of the Mobile Home Park.  Residents may enter/exit from either side of Gore Rd. Men and Equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and find an Alternate Route.

Harwood Hill Road -between Northside Drive and Rte 7 Connector may be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Hunt St: Monday at intersection of Robinson Ave will be patched.  Lane restrictions will be necessary.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays or find an alternate route.

Kocher Drive: between Aldi’s and Performance Dr may be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for work on the Pedestrian Sidewalk Extension project.  Men and equipment will be in or on the edge of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

McIntosh Lane: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Michael’s Drive: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic due to PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Rice Lane will be CLOSED to ALL through traffic for the next 3 weeks as a Highway Crew reconstructs a river crossing/culvert near Matteson Road.  Residents will only have access from either side of Rice Lane.  Please find Alternate Route.

Robinson Ave: Monday at intersection of Hunt St will be patched.  Lane restrictions will be necessary.  Residents may use the Pageant St entrance/exit.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays or find an alternate route.

Safford St: Monday-Tuesday from Gage St to Scott St will be CLOSED to through traffic as a Water Crew repairs a water main pipe at Morgan Springs.  Equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays or find an alternate route.

School St: from Main St to Pleasant St will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic as a crew test digs for power pole relocation in anticipation of new sidewalk project.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Willow Road: will continue to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic all week for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be in or on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

TOWNWIDE:

A Highway crew will continue road markings throughout town.  Please use caution when approaching these areas and expect delays.

Downtown: a crew will continue to clean out tree boxes and mulch.  Another crew will continue to grind down uneven sidewalks to help prevent trip hazards.  Sidewalk restrictions will be in place.  Please proceed with caution.

A private contractor will begin roadside mowing throughout town.  Please use caution when approaching these areas and expect delays.

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

 

REMINDER – Spring :

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this clogs storm drains and creates flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station.
