Week of November 04 – 08, 2019

 

 PFOA Water Line Extensions work continues as well as Town DPW Projects.  These may require road closures or lane reductions.  Please find below the anticipated road closures and lane restrictions.

Autumn Acres continues to be reduced to One-Lane for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.    Men and equipment will be on the edge of the roadway.  Please use caution and expect delays.

Harwood Hill Road -between Orchard Rd and Rte 7 Connector continues to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Houghton Lane continues to be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Willow Roadcontinues to be CLOSED for the next several weeks to through traffic for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Local traffic ONLY will be allowed.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please find alternate route.

 

TOWNWIDE:

Highway Crews will be in various locations across town conducting and completing smaller tasks from the construction season, this includes Road Patching and tree removal work.  The Street Sweeper will also be out cleaning roadways.  PLEASE USE CAUTION when approaching these areas men & equipment may be on the edge or in the roadway.  Delays may be possible.

Water Department will be conducting Hydrant Repairs across town found during the most recent hydrant flushing schedule.  PLEASE USE CAUTION when approaching these areas men & equipment may be on the edge or in the roadway.  Delays may be possible

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

 

REMINDER – LEAF SEASON :

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this will clog storm drains and create both flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station. When disposing of leaf bags, you MUST empty the bags into the pile.

Remember: Parking Ban begins November 15th
