Paving Locations this week by private contractor (expected in this order):

Intersection 67A & Silk Road

  • Morse Road
  • Orchard Road
  • Morgan Street
  • Branch Street
  • South Branch St

 

Additionally…..

  • Branch Street will remain closed to through traffic all week between Main and Gage Streets; Wastewater and Highway crews will be preparing the roadway for final paving by a private contractor (later in the week). Local Traffic will continue to be accommodated.
  • Gage Street – On Tuesday Water Crews will be repairing a water line on Upper Gage Street. One-lane traffic will be accommodated. No service interruption is expected. Please use caution, as men and equipment will be in the roadway.
  • Lyons Street – On Monday Water Crews will be repairing a water leak on Lyons Street. One-lane traffic will be accommodated. No service interruption is expected. Please use caution, as men and equipment will be in the roadway.
  • Main Street (North Side) between Bradford and Branch Streets highway crews will be pouring new sidewalks. Additionally on Tuesday a contractor will be transferring the traffic light at Main St and Branch St to a new pole. One-lane traffic will be accommodated during this time, please use caution and expect delays.
  • North Street – will be closed to all through traffic beginning at 8:00PM Thursday night between Main Street and Gage Street. Water crews will replace a leaking water valve. Officers will be detouring traffic to Depot Street during this time. Water Service in this area may be affected. Prior Notification will be given to those expected to be affected.
  • South Street – will be closed to all through traffic beginning at 8:00PM Tuesday night between Main Street and Union Street. Water crews will replace a leak. Officers will be detouring traffic to Union Street during this time. Water Service in this area may be affected. Prior Notification will be given to those expected to be affected.
  • South Branch Street will remain closed to through traffic all week, as Wastewater and Highway crews will be preparing the roadway for final paving by a private contractor (later in the week). Local Traffic will continue to be accommodated.
  • Roadside mowing continues throughout town. Please use caution when approaching these areas.

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions. Please use caution when entering a construction zone; men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

Please Be Advised: To BOTH Residents and Contractors – Please make sure all loads are covered when taking leaves and or brush to the transfer station.
