Week of September 30, 2019 – October 04, 2019

 

Autumn Acres will be reduced to One-Lane this week for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.    Men and equipment will be on the edge of the roadway.  Please use caution and expect delays.

Depot Street – Thursday between County St and Rte 7 intersection (Wassick’s Tire) will be CLOSED to through traffic from 7:00a.m – 3:30p.m while Water Crew installs a flushing hydrant.   Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please find alternate route.

Harwood Hill Road -between Orchard Rd and Rte 7 Connector will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next several weeks for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Men and equipment will be on edges of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Main Street (East) near Linden St – Wednesday will be reduced to One-Lane traffic as Water Crew repairs a curb stop.   Men and equipment will be on the edge roadway.  Please Use Caution and expect delays.

Main Street (Tuesday & Wednesday NIGHT ONLY) between Depot St and Four Corners will be CLOSED to through traffic from 7:00 PM – 3:00AM while private contractor conducts a new water tap.   Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please find alternate route.

River Street continues to be CLOSED to through traffic from 7:00a.m – 3:30p.m while several crews work on its rehabilitation.   Local traffic ONLY will be allowed.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please find alternate route.

Willow Roadcontinues to be CLOSED for the next several weeks to through traffic for PFOA Water Line Extension Work.  Local traffic ONLY will be allowed.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please find alternate route.

 

TOWNWIDE:

A Highway Crew will be repairing and/or replacing signs.  PLEASE USE CAUTION when approaching these areas and expect delays.

Newly blacktopped streets will be receiving safety/traffic lines.  This will be conducted in the early morning hours.  Please expect delays.

 

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

 

REMINDER:

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station.
