Town Meeting Day is a state-wide holiday for Vermonters that is covered by state law. Every first Monday of March, voters come out to the Town Meeting where they discuss the Town Budget, and Board Members are selected. Local School Meetings are also held on the same day, where the school budgets are discussed and board members are also selected.

Town Meeting Day is followed by Town Voting Day on the first Tuesday of March. Voters are encouraged to come out to both events and let their voices be heard.
