 Please be Advised: The PFOA Water Line extension work continues. 

 Burgess Rd (Center St to Main St): will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic as water crew repairs valves in preparation for paving. Reminder: this section of Burgess Rd has been milled and is still rough while waiting for paving.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays

Gage St: (Safford St to Grove St): Monday & Tuesday will be CLOSED as a contractor rescheduled the new water connection for the Rec Ctr expansion project.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Detours will be in place. Please schedule your time accordingly to account for these detours or find an alternate route.

Kocher Drive: between Aldi’s and Performance Dr continues to have lane restrictions while a contractor continues work on the Pedestrian Sidewalk Extension project.  Men and equipment will be in or on the edge of the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

North Branch St: Wednesday will be CLOSED between Brooklyn Bridge and Bowen Rd intersections while the Highway Dept crew replaces a culvert at White Rocks parking lot.  Reminder: this entire road has been milled and is still rough while waiting for paving.  Detours will be in place. Please schedule your time accordingly to account for these detours or find an alternate route.

Performance Dr: will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic all week as Highway Crew mills the road in preparation for new pavement.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

Pleasant St: between North St and School St will be Closed Tuesday while a Water crew repairs a leaking water main.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and find an alternate route.

Polygraphic Ln (N.Benn): will be reduced to One-Lane Traffic for the next 2 weeks while a Sewer Crew works on the Sewer Main Replacement project.  Men and equipment will be in the roadway.  Please use Caution and Expect Delays.

TOWNWIDE:

Highway Department will continue roadside mowing throughout town.  Please use caution when approaching these areas and expect delays.

Sewer crews will be repairing manholes in various areas.  Please use caution when approaching these areas.

All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.  Please use caution when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

 

REMINDER – Summer :

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this clogs storm drains and creates flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure ALL LOADS ARE COVERED when taking leaves and or brush to the Transfer Station.
