Update: Benmont Ave Bridge Fully Open by 7PM, Friday, Sept 16, 2016

Project Update, 9/16/16, Bennington BRF 1000(16) [Benmont Ave. Bridge]

THE BENMONT AVENUE BRIDGE IS SCHEDULED TO  REOPEN TO THROUGH TRAFFIC ON FRIDAY, 9/16/16 BY THE END OF THE DAY. AT THAT POINT, THE BRIDGE WILL BE OPEN TO TWO-WAY TRAFFIC

PROJECT LOCATION: Benmont Ave. Bridge

Work to be completed on the Benmont Ave. bridge will begin approximately 400 ft. north of the intersection with Hunt St. and extend northerly along Benmont Ave. for approximately 300 ft.

CLOSURE: The Benmont Avenue bridge is scheduled to reopen on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2016 by the end of the work day (7:00 PM). Once the bridge has been reopened, it will be open to two-way traffic.

BRIDGE WORK: As crews finish up details on this project, please be aware that the potential exists for periodic flagging operations and/or alternating one-way traffic during construction hours. The bridge will remain open to two-way traffic at all other times.

TRAFFIC DELAYS: Possible periodic flagging operations may occur intermittently over the course of the next several weeks. This may result in minor delays on an intermittent basis.

DETOUR INFORMATION: Once the bridge has been reopened, the detour signs will be removed and the detour will no longer be in effect.

PEDESTRIAN DETOUR:  The pedestrian detour will be removed once the bridge has reopened, and the pedestrian detour will no longer be in effect.
