Week of September 12 – September 16, 2016

 Benmont Avenue Bridge will be CLOSED in both directions Monday through Saturday while the State completes the rehabilitation project.

Branch Street will remain closed all week between Main Street and Gage St to all thru traffic as the rehabilitation project continues. Local Traffic will continue to be accommodated. Highway crews will be working with a private contractor to excavate driveways and set new curbing.

Main Street between Bradford and Branch St will be reduced to one-lane traffic Monday and Tuesday as a private contractor sets new curbing in this area. Please use caution when approaching.

North Branch Street / Brooklyn Bridge will be closed to through traffic Wednesday from Sweets Lane to County Street intersection. Local traffic on North Branch Street will be accommodated, however NO traffic will be allowed over the bridge. Water Department crew will be replacing a leaking water valve underneath the bridge.

Rte 67A near Silk Road intersection will be reduced to one-lane traffic on Wednesday so a private contractor may set new curbing. Please use caution when approaching this area.

 – Roadside mowing continues throughout town. Please use caution when approaching these areas.

– A private contractor will be paving various roads throughout town all week. Each of these roads will be reduced to one-lane traffic. Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic. Expect delays


All Work will be dependent on weather conditions.

Please use caution when entering a construction zone; men and equipment will be in the traveled portion of the road.

Please make sure all loads are covered when taking leaves and or brush to the transfer station.
