Division Street Closure:  Tuesday May 16 from 6:00am – 4:00pm Division Street will be closed to through traffic from Scott Street to Gage Street.  A private Contractor will be conducting roof repair for Energizer that will require a large crane for lifting supplies.  Please find alternate route.

Grant Street Closure: Grant Street will be closed to through traffic (only) Wednesday May 17th from 7:00am – 3:00pm.  Highway crews will be replacing a culvert.  Local Traffic (only) will be accommodated.  Please find alternate route.

As a reminder, the Town’s Semi-Annual Hydrant Flushing begins Monday May 15th and runs for a two-week period ending May 26th.   This is a State-Mandated program executed every Spring and Fall.  Some residents may experience low water pressure and/or discolored water temporarily.  These are normal side effects of the program and cause no harmful effects.   If you are experiencing these issues, please refrain from doing light colored laundry and run your cold-water tap (only) until water is clear.

Please DO NOT rake or blow leaves into Town streets or Highways as this clogs storm drains and creates flooding and driving hazards for the entire community.

Residents and Contractors – Please make sure all loads are covered when taking leaves and or brush to the transfer station.
