One done, one to go!
Last year, one of two temporary bridges over the Furnace Brook on the Ninja Trail failed, followed by the second bridge this past summer. The first of those bridges has now been replaced by a new temporary bridge, and it is beautiful! The main beams for the second bridge are now on site, and we are just waiting for the lumber delivery to arrive to finish that one off as well.
Permanent bridges for the pathway have been planned and a grant to pay for them are already in place… We expect to have to bid out the first bridge this winter and for construction to begin hopefully next summer.
