Retired US Senator Patrick Leahy and his wife Marcelle visited the Bennington today!
The Leahy's along with State Senator Brian Campion met with Bennington's Community Development Director Shannon Barsotti, Select Board Chair Jeannie Jenkins, and the new Market manager Natasha Littrelle as part of a tour of the Bennington Community Market and the Putnam Block.
Leahy retired from the US Senate this past January where he represented Vermont for 48 years. Leahy will speak about his remarkable political career at Bennington College's Elizabeth Coleman Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA) on Thursday, October 12 at 7PM.
